Join us to build and burn your way to a strong body and overall healthy self in this inclusive cross-training group fitness class for adults 16+ years. Each workout includes a strength training, cardiovascular and fat burn component for maximum muscle gain and fat loss results. Our Strength & Conditioning techniques build a strong body from which one can transition into more advanced stages, including a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a range of difficulties and abilities, from beginner to advanced. If you are interested in recreational or competitive powerlifting, are an individual with an intellectual disability, a resident of Waterloo Region and minimum of 16+ years old then you qualify to be a member of our team.  Please register directly through KW Special Olympics.

This co-ed, one-of-a-kind class is designed to empower, strengthen, build confidence, friendship and independence through fitness and functional movement. This is not your typical chair exercise class; its exciting, fun and challenging and adapted for each participants ability to ensure success. Technical, Dynamic & Explosive

This class incorporates the technical aspects of boxing, kickboxing, full body conditioning and core strengthening. Learn skills such as correct form in jabs, hooks, uppercuts, kicking while working at an intense pace. Push yourself to the limit, shed a ton of stress and burn up to 800 calories a class! 
All fitness levels welcome. (Age 18+)

Stronger, faster, smarter

A weekly strength & conditioning program for ages 9-15 years.

Designed from age appropriate sport-science, research and experience. Each class focuses on developing/improving balance, movement, strength and energy to build a stronger, faster, smarter youth athlete. Our strength & conditioning program is built on training fitness characteristics that directly transfer to skills and tactics required in any high intensity sport; power, speed, quickness, agility, multi joint strength and movement skills necessary for sports participation and top athleticism.

Let the boys be boys and the girls be girls; friday nights are for hanging with  friends. These boys and girls only clubs are unique and just like Tuesday,  only available to persons with exceptional needs.

This is no yoga class, these spectacular groups of like-minded fitness enthusiasts are busy breaking stigmas and crushing labels while becoming stronger, fitter, healthier, happier humans.

YOUTH FIT

SATURDAYS @ 11AM

foundation, education, opportunity, acceptance

Cardio-respiratory endurance, strength, stamina, coordination, flexibility and proper technique is the weekly focus for this youth-friendly fitness class.

This class is split into two small groups (6-12 yrs and 13-16 yrs) with each group training in an age appropriate program. Combined, there will never be more than 12 people training at one time.

The class helps youth and teens to understand age appropriate strength training in a healthy and safe way to effectively build lean muscle mass, which helps balance their overall fitness, avoid injury, increases confidence, improves athletic performance and enhances overall quality of life. The program will provide youth and teens with a fun, safe, and effective workout.

The best part of this class is that its inclusive. It is class is intended for every fitness level and every ability, provide and encourage opportunities for growth, advancement and acceptance.
